Freiburg (2008-2010): Merger of two breast centers, Preparation of Merger with Cardic Center Bad Krozingen (ca. 1000 employees); and preparation for acquisition of private oncology hospital and research center (KTB) by the University of Freiburg University Hospital

Bonn (2012 – currently): Highest increase in Case Mix Index and now 2nd position of all University Medical Centers in Germany. Part of the Excellence Initiative in Germany, in which the University Bonn scored as No. 1 in 2019 based on the number of excellence clusters.
